Our mission is to collect and share real foster care stories—what works, what doesn’t, and what needs to change—while calling communities to step up, rebuild support systems, and care for families together. By turning stories into action, we aim to strengthen communities, support foster families, and help address our nation’s shortage of safe, loving homes—with a little kindness leading the way.

Changing hearts through real stories - including mine.
Behind every statistic is a story—and those stories deserve to be heard. Through speaking, video, and lived experience, we share the real, unfiltered truth of foster care—both the beauty and the brokenness.
Our goal is to shift perspective, break down misconceptions, and help people see foster families and children through a lens of understanding instead of judgment.
Because when hearts change, actions follow.

OUTREACH
Turning compassion into action
Most people want to help—they just don’t know how. Outreach creates simple, tangible ways for communities to step in and make a difference, whether through kindness challenges, care packages, or small acts of support.
Through initiatives like our Kindness Wheel and Foster Family Blessing Bags, we invite everyday people to be part of something bigger—meeting real needs in real time.

ADVOCACY
Supporting families where it matters most
Foster families are carrying more than most people will ever see—and too often, they carry it alone. Advocacy is about listening, learning, and lifting up their voices so communities and leaders better understand what’s truly needed.
Through appreciation events, roundtable conversations, and real connections, we work to strengthen what’s already in place while helping bridge the gaps that cause families to burn out.
Because when we support the families, we change the outcomes for the children.
